MAN OF STEEL SEQUEL TO FEATURE THE BATMAN


The team that brought you this Summer’s Man Of Steel has announced the biggest news of the Con… Superman meets Batman. Here is hoping that Snyder and Nolan get it done right and that this will hopefully be the true launching point for a proposed DC Cinematic Universe. Which of course, would lead to a Justice League film. Fingers crossed.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON


The sequel to last years mega box office champ Marvel’s Avengers has a title and a release date of Summer 2015. Based on the works of Brian Michael Bendis and Bryan Hitch, Age of Ultron will no doubt catch many by surprise. Many have speculated that Thanos would be the big bad in Avengers 2 but that looks to be delayed till Avengers 3. What we do know, is that Thanos will play a role in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy.

The CW’s ARROW CASTS BLACK CANARY

While most of us thought they already had the Black Canary in place with Dinah Laurel Lance played by Katie Cassidy, word comes from San Diego that Caity Lotz will appear in Season 2 as the Black Canary. For those of you who are not familiar with the character, the Black Canary is not only Green Arrow’s partner and love interest but she eventually becomes his wife. We’ll see how this plays out on the series.

AGENT CARTER ONE SHOT

Agent Peggy Carter who first appeared in Captain America will get her own one-shot in the upcoming Iron Man 3 Blu-Ray release. Iron Man 3 hits shelves on September 24th.

Although there are no newsworthy information regarding Godzilla, the official poster has been unveiled.


I have to say, this poster gets me excited about the possibilities. At the very least wipe away my memories of that other film from 1998.
