A bounty hunter or “collector” from Earth-19 called Gypsy with vibe powers of her own comes to Central City to bring H.R. back to stand trial for his crime of inter-dimensional travel. Warning, spoilers ahead…

Unfortunately for H.R., the consequences for jumping dimensions on Earth-19 turn out to be death. When H.R. surrenders, Barry and Cisco try to find a way to save him. The problem is in order to do so, someone would have to fight Gypsy to the death. Because of her vibe powers, Cicso offers to face her.

Before this epic showdown, Barry and Team Flash still look find a way to save Iris from dying by the hand of Savitar in the future. Cisco shows Barry a diagram made of LEGO’s to show what needs to be done to save Iris. The long and the short of it, Barry needs to become faster. Julian joins them but was less convinced that Barry in the next four months could gain enough speed in time to save Iris.  As Julian said, the math nor the science lies.

Iris in the meantime is busy trying to leave her mark should the events with Savitar come true and she dies. What legacy would she leave behind? She chases after a story about arm dealers that could be a huge for her career. Her reckless behavior almost cost Iris her life but thankfully Wally speeds in and saves her.

In preparing to faceoff against Gypsy, Julian discovers a possible way to defeat Gypsy noticing that every time she emerges from the portal, she is momentarily off-balance with her feet slightly off the ground and vulnerable to attack. Armed with this game changer, Cisco arrives at the meeting point and after some bantering, Gypsy sends Cisco flying with a vibe blast of energy. Cisco gets back to his feet and he blasts her back with his own blast of energy. A stalemate occurs and Gypsy opens up another portal and the two fights through various other earths including Earth-2 where Supergirl resides. Gypsy knocks Cisco back to Earth-1 and just as she appears jumping through, Cisco uses his power to defeat Gypsy. She concedes her defeat and H.R. can stay on this earth with the understanding he could never return to Earth-19. Gypsy and Cisco exchange goodbyes and just as it looks like they were about to kiss, she vibes herself away through the portal.

The episode ends when Barry arrives at STAR Labs to watch Wally train. Afterwards, he tells Wally that he needs him to get faster because it won’t be him that saves Iris from Savitar, it will be Wally.
