So they kissed. We’ll talk about that shortly. For now, let’s dive in and discuss “Faster, Pussycats! Kill! Kill!”. Warning, spoilers ahead…
What’s becoming a trend, Archie has more girl problems. This time it’s with Veronica who was supposed to do a duet with Arch at the annual Riverdale High variety show. But Valerie has taken her spot after having a fallout with Josie. All is not lost for Veronica who ends up joining the Pussycats. Archie isn’t the only Andrews that Veronica takes issue with. There’s his dad Fred who seems to be getting close to her mom Hermione much to Veronica’s disproval. Veronica is still hanging on to all hope that once her dad gets out of prison, they can be a family again. For now though she feels betrayed by her mother.
Meanwhile, Betty and Jughead continue with their investigation into Jason’s murder that leads them to a hospital for troubled youth and come face to face with Betty’s sister Polly who is pregnant with Jason’s baby. To complicate things further, Polly was unaware that Jason’s dead. Betty’s mom shows up and the two of them have another mother-daughter blow up. Later Betty accuses her father of breaking into sheriff’s office to steal the evidence that was gathered. Of course he denied it and her mother went as far as to say her husband doesn’t have what it takes to do such a thing let alone kill Jason. She also adds how much she wished she had killed Jason. There’s a lot more going on between the Coopers and Blossoms.
Betty and Jughead discover the car Jason and Polly were going to use to leave town and find the drugs Jason was allegedly selling. They immediately go to the sheriff to tell him and together they go back to the car. When they arrive however, the car is in flames and with it the evidence.
That night, Jughead arrives at Betty’s room and the two share a kiss. Wonder how Archie is going to feel about this?
