Oliver is just not having a good day, week and unless anything positive changes, not a great season for him personally. Warning, spoilers ahead…
While seeking answers to the Prometheus riddle, Oliver meets with Talia, who reveals herself as Ra’s’ daughter and who now has a death wish on Oliver for killing her father. To add insult to injury, she tells Oliver the identity of Prometheus… Adrian Chase. Oliver later confronts Adrian, who can now openly taunt Oliver and reveals that he has Susan Williams. If anything should happen to him, Susan will die.
Desperate to stop Adrian, the Green Arrow tries to convince Adrian’s wife Doris to stop her husband. Before he could get through to her, the ACU storms in and he was forced to escape. Felicity as part of HELIX finds Susan’s location and Team Arrow rescues her. The Green Arrow then confronts Adrian/Prometheus. Oliver has Diggle bring Doris in hopes that her seeing Adrian for what he has become, would convince him to surrender. They embrace and then he stabs her. Doris dies before Diggle can bring her to the hospital in time. Oliver and Adrian fight and just as it looks like Oliver has gained the advantage he was struck down by Talia’s arrow. They abduct him and Adrian tells Oliver that he (Adrian) will show Oliver who he really is. What he means by that, one could only guess.
